We add this to our homemade bread. We only add a pinch of it, maybe about an 1/8 teaspoon to a 2lb loaf. We have yet for a loaf to spoil even at two weeks. We also add it to homemade cakes and pies. We researched this before buying. It’s been heavily tested by the FDA and other agencies and found to be non toxic. Just use it in very small quantities.
